Ben Mclemore Trade Scenarios

Cavaliers get: Ben Mclemore and Kosta Koufos
Kings get: Iman Shumpert and Timofey Mozgov

Mclemore has been struggling with the Kings and it has been rumored that the Kings are working with him to find him a new home.  The Cavs have expressed interest in him and Koufos and have also been searching for a new home for Shumpert.  The Kings would greatly benefit from this getting a defensive wing player they desperately need without giving up much.  To make the salaries matchup the teams would swap centers and the Kings get an expiring Mozgov contract.

Timberwolves get: Ben Mclemore
Kings get: Shabazz Muhammad
       or
Timberwolves get: Ben Mclemore, Caron Butler, and James Anderson
Kings get: Kevin Martin, Tayshaun Prince, and Andre Miller

The Twolves have been rumored to be interested in Mclemore for some reason I can't figure out because they have a plethora of young guards.  Anyways, this first scenario here allows the Kings to get a wing player with a lot of potential who is slightly cheaper than Mclemore.  In the second scenario the Kings get Martin, who is a former King and has been on the market for some time.  This is a big upgrade offensively and is a player who could make an instant impact.  This trade took some finagling to get the salaries to be acceptable for trade; so veteran SF's would be swapped and Butler could play the same role as Prince was playing in MIN, then Anderson and Miller would need to be included and the Kings and Karl love Miller.

Nets get: Ben Mclemore, Rudy Gay, and Kosta Koufos
Kings get: Joe Johnson, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, and 2016 1st round pick

This is a total rebuilding move for the Kings.  They have been on the fence about moving Gay and this deal would move him and get a huge $24,000,000 expiring contract back.  The Nets have been trying to move his huge contract and this would probably return them the most talent out of any deal they have been offered.  The Nets could be hesitant about giving up their top 15 pick this year and a rookie who has exceeded expectations. In addition, the Kings could also be hesitant about rebuilding once again as it has been hard to lure free agents,  even with all the cap space they would get here.
